Garden Use
Hebes can be grown as a singlespecimen or planted in groups for great effect. With regular trimming theycan form an attractive informal hedge or border and an interestingarrangment in any garden. Very hardy it is well suited to containers,borders and landscape plantings, requiring little or no maintenance and isdrought tolerant. Hebes are also excellent specimens for pots and plantersas well as rockeries, where they fill in the dips between rocksperfectly.

Planting Guide
Plant in moist free-drainingsoil that is poor or moderately fertile. It should be in a shelteredposition in full sun or light shade. Hebes need free-draining soil that isconstantly moist, poor- medium fertile, and slightly acidic to slightlyalkaline. They require good mulching at all times. Hardy on sites shelteredfrom strong, drying winds and hidden from direct winter sunlight, adulthebes usually regenerate readily after harsh winter damage if they arewell-established. Variegated varities of Hebe are slightly more frosttender than the other varieties.
