In summer, Chionochloa Rubra's lightly weeping stems bear attractive, grassseed heads which remain for many weeks. In winter the leaves turn to beigeat their tips, with russet tones at their bases, adding colour to the dullwinter landscape. Gorgeous, tough as nails, Chionochloa rubra is a veryeasy perennial to grow.

Planting Guide
Grows easily in an openmounds to about 120cm tall and wide. Enjoys full sun to part shade inmoist, light, fertile and well-drained soils. Drought and wet soil tolerantneeds only occasional watering. Will not tolerate excessive winter wet.
